Computer Controlled Polishing Machine - CCPM1500

CCPM1500 can grind and polish spherical and aspherical on and off axis optical components. It is a 7 DF autonomous robot equipped with a dedicated on-line interpherometer for surface under polishing quality evaluation. The optics surface error file is uploaded to the machine control system in order to automatically optimize the polishing process. During the optimization process and after any polishing cycle the TurnTable is overturned for the best optical alignment between optics and interpherometer. During the acquisition process the table rotates around its axis to compensate for astigmatism effects due to gravity (more interpherometric acquisitions). The machine is provided with 1 gr resolution readout system to take under control the force applied to the under polishing surface.The machine is provided with two separate abrasive fuid systems, respectively for fine griinding and polishing, namely the machins can provide differerent activiies on the base of the requirements.

More in italian .. Possono essere impostati diversi programmi di lavorazione. Il portale (assi x , y e z) consente all'utensile di raggiungere ogni punto della superficie della tavola. L'asse Z comprende un mandrino provvisto di testa di misura pressione con la risoluzione di 1 grammo. Il mandrino, la cui rotazione può essere o meno controllata, è anche provvisto di tilt intorno agli assi X ed Y. La macchina è dotata di centralina oleodinamica per il ribaltamento della tavola portapezzi e di impianto idraulico che consente l'uso di fluidi di lavorazione differenti a seconda se si deve effettuare ub fine grinding o il polishing. Insieme alla CCP può essere fornito il sistema di misura interferometrico. Al mandrino può essere fissato un utensile per la correzione di errori localizzati, sempre con l'ausilio del sistema di misura interferometrico per il feedback dell'effetto della lavorazione. Il programma di lavoro viene stabilito autonomamente dal sistema di controllo della macchina.
